Some people think we save the best for Senior High campers...but don't you deserve it? Senior High Week ( July 13-18, 2008)
Isn’t it time for a break? Away from the distractions of your busy life back home, you’ll find time to catch your breath and focus on issues that matter to you…and time to use some pent-up energy in the pool or on the sports field! You’ll develop lifelong friendships with people who love and accept you for the unique individual you are. Together, you’ll enjoy favorite camp traditions and help plan special activities that make this week unforgettable. As you play, learn, work and worship together, you will get to know your fellow campers and grow closer to God as you explore what it means to live your faith. Pastors Steve Krebill and Connie Mentzer are planning some memorable Discovery and worship experiences, former counselors are plotting ways to come back for a visit, and your friends are probably already thinking about banquet food and dance themes. If this is your first senior high summer, you're in for a treat. If you've done this before, you know you don't want to miss it!

Bike-Canoe Adventure - Grades 8-10 (June 29-July 4, 2008)
Explore the backcountry roads and natural beauty of north central Ohio from the seat of a bicycle. Enjoy Camp Mowana and Lutheran Memorial Camp, a day of canoeing, with campfires and worship experiences “on the road.” This is a journey and a challenge you won’t soon forget! Campers will pedal between 20 and 30 miles a day. Bring your own multi-speed bike and helmet.
Fee: $410
Staff-In-Training for campers who have completed grades 10-12 (June 29-July 4 and second week to be determined at interview)
Have you enjoyed your counselors so much that you want to be one? Why wait until you graduate to test the waters? If you have completed your 10th grade year, you’ll want to sign up for two weeks of SIT! The experience includes an application, interview and choice of 2nd week location. The first week (based out of LMC) is run as a mini-counselor-training with policies, age characteristics and leadership skills all focused on an experience with campers. Time will be spent at LMC and Camp Mowana for exposure to both camp’s traditions and unique styles. The second week will be at your choice of camps, in a cabin full of campers with a counselor to mentor your experience.
